Certifications and qualifications: Certified Doula

I am a wife and a mother of five children. I have four children now living with me, and one whom I placed for adoption many years ago. I had, for the most part, very positive birth experiences and I became a doula in order to assist other moms and dads-to-be in the birth process to help them have a satisfying and positive birth experience however they define that.

I am a labor doula and my services include two prenatal visits (more if you desire), constant care throughout your birth, and 1-2 post-partum visits depending on your needs/wants. I also offer infant massage instruction if you so desire. I also offer complete services to moms in unplanned pregnancies, including those who are placing their babies for adoption.

I am certified through Childbirth International as a doula. I also have been doing infant massage for nearly 13 years. I specialize in "special circumstance" pregnancies, but love working with anyone who wants to have a doula as a part of their birth team.
