My name is Kathy Franzen and I am the mother of 8 grown children, five by birth and three by marriage. I also have six young grandchildren. I've been a teen mother, a single parent and a stepmother. I was a home day care provider during the years my children were young. Children and families have been a precious, powerful influence in my life for many years.

I am passionate about my calling as a postpartum doula and am greatly appreciative to share in the most awesome, challenging and rewarding experience of your life. I help families prepare their home and their lives to welcome their new baby, and provide efficient and effective systems that will allow you to spend valuable, quality time with your child/children and family. Postpartum services include household organization, help with household chores, meal preparation, errands and childcare, a shoulder to lean on and help finding resources. With my broad knowledge and experience with breastfeeding, I will offer you support and encouragement for a successful and fulfilling nursing experience.
