My name is Margaret McKinley Owens. I live in Coon Rapids with my husband and four children. I have had a wide range of birth experiences. I lost my first born and have had four healthy children since then. I have had good hospital experiences and wonderful at home birthing with my last child. I love birth, babies, helping new families during their postpartum experience. I am a DONA certified birth and a DONA trained postpartum doula. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor so I can support you if you choose to breastfeed. I enjoy working in hospitals with OBS, and CNM's as well as assisting in families who choose to birth at home with a traditional midwife. My true passion is the early postpartum period; I can help your adjustment with your new baby go smoothly.
