Certifications and qualifications: DONA Trained

My husband and I are proud parents of a 2 year old Angel (ha ha). She is the light of our lives. I became interested in the birthing process after I had her. I started assisting friends and family members with their pregnancies and births.

I provide postpartum services. The best way to describe a postpartum doula, is your extra set of knowledgeable hands. I am able to help in the areas you need the most. I am very knowledgeable in newborn health and feeding. I can help with errands, meal preparation, cooking, light housework (laundry, dishes…) and of course newborn care. I can also help before baby comes with shopping for essentials, and setting up the nursery, talking with other children to help prepare them for the new baby.

Another kind of doula is an antepartum doula, this is relatively new sort of service offered to mothers on bedrest. Most of what an antepartum doula does is the same as what a postpartum doula does. An antepartum doula also incorporates a lot of childbirth education.

*DONA trained
*Certified Home Health Aid
*Registered Nursing Assistant
*CPR, First Aids, SIDS/SBS Certified
*Currently a nursing student
*Over 5 years of Infant care experience
*Many classes taken in infant development
