Birth Doula
As your doula, I am committed to serving you and meeting you where you are in your pregnancy journey without bias or judgment. I fell in love with birth when I had my first baby. I had a strong desire to help other families in this life-changing event. I trained through DONA (Doulas of North America, and Spinning Babies ( This background is the foundation of my prenatal and labor support. I am hands-on in my approach and focus my care on keeping your labor moving forward while helping you stay comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. I look for ways to facilitate optimal baby positioning with my training with Spinning Babies. Included in these skills are changing positions, comfort measures, and applying relaxation techniques. I also take care of the many necessary tasks at hand and provide constant emotional support. In these ways, I hope to help you have a successful birth with the feeling you made all the best decisions for you and your family. I adapt my approach as your birth progresses. As a member of your birth team, your birth partner plays a vital role in supporting you. As your doula, I want your partner to feel confident and able to participate fully in supporting you. I will encourage and empower both of you to have a positive and memorable birth. I keep my ears, eyes, and heart open to you. It’s your birth. Your needs and wishes are at the center of my support.
