About
Hi, there! I'm Jillian. I'm a birthworker and feminist changemaker ☺ I’ve been a doula since 2018 and supported nearly 100 families as they've navigated fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I'm also a mom to two daughters, Lottie (5 years) and Evangeline (7 months). During my first pregnancy, I rocked a 3 day induction at the hospital, and with my second, I achieved a candlelit waterbirth in my bedroom; both were positive, empowering experiences that were the right decision for me. I believe you know what's right for you!

As a doula, my strengths are empathy, compassion, non-judgment, and championing you to believe in yourself and your strong, unique, beautiful body. I'm obsessed with both the physical and mental/emotional aspects of support that can bring more comfort and ease to your birth experience.

I have personal experience with pregnancy loss, infertility (IVF), Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and weight bias in the healthcare system. All bodies are good bodies, and I consider it a special honor to serve families facing these challenges.

When I’m not supporting a birth or meeting with clients, you can find me snuggled up on the couch watching cult documentaries on Netflix, cooking for those I love, or knocking doors for pro-choice political candidates. I have a heart for advocacy and believe we need to work at both individual and systemic levels to make sustainable social change.
