When I was pregnant with my first child and told my midwife that I was hoping for an unmedicated birth, she quickly recommended I find a doula. Prior to giving birth and having a child I liked being in control and would get frustrated when things didn't go as expected. During my pregnancy I worked hard to let go and be flexible. Don't get me wrong, I still love to plan and organize! However, I was able to find joy and peace in the unknown. Having a doula by my side allowed me to let go and connect with my body and my husband in ways I never would have imagined possible during labor and birth.

Since becoming a mother, I have learned a lot. The greatest lesson possibly, that advocating for yourself and having support makes a huge impact on how you experience life. I'm passionate about serving others as they birth and transform into parenthood, for the first or fifth time! Every person, every birth, and every baby is unique. I'm here to help you feel confident throughout your pregnancy and be proud of your birth! The journey is yours. I am here to support you!
